CAMP FACILITIES: We are on a 75 acre peninsula property, tucked between the Northern Highland Forest. We have 9 cabins, 5 platform tents, and a Yurt village consisting of 4 Yurts. We also have our own island, that we like to use frequently. We have a health lodge, with two full time nurses and 2 larger staff lodges. Our dinning hall that can fit even our largest sessions. CAMP FACILITIES: The 80+ acre campsite includes a spacious dining hall (Chadar Ochel), kosher kitchen, an air-conditioned recreation hall (Beit Am), and 20 acres of waterfront property that includes water skiing, tubing, kayaking, sailing, canoeing, and swimming.

Our sports facilities include two basketball courts, softball diamond, soccer fields, two tennis courts, an archery range, and a ropes course with a 41-foot climbing tower and 300 foot zip line.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: CYJ is not affiliated with any particular stream of Judaism. Our goal is to provide our campers with the tools to make choices about their Jewish Identity and connection to Israel. Our campers and staff come from a broad spectrum of backgrounds in Jewish beliefs and practices. We have our own Siddur (prayer book) and our own traditions when it comes to observance. The backgrounds of our campers range from those that haven’t had much exposure to Judaism in their communities, to those that identify themselves as Orthodox. Our kitchen is Kosher, with certification and oversight from Kosher Supervisors of Wisconsin. We aim to create a sense of K’lal Yisrael, unity among the Jewish people, starting with the community we create at camp.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Are you interested in being a part of the CYJ Midwest family? We’re looking for creative, energetic, caring people to fill a variety of positions at camp this summer. CAMP FACILITIES: Our philosophy is based around designing inclusive social groups that allow for participants to express themselves and have a say in the experience. Participants will set the schedule, control the route, and are given the freedom to develop their own games and activities while on our programs.

Participants will sleep in tents (excepting sailing programs, where accommodations are typically on the boats themselves). Participants will typically travel daily, learning to prepare their own meals on fires and camp stoves, setting up their own schedules, learning outdoor skills (survival skills, map and compass, etc...), and learning about group dynamics.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Crystalaire has been offering alternative outdoor adventure education experiences for almost a century. Our staff are highly trained, and will have lifeguarding and wilderness medicine certifications as well as prior experience. We believe in creating playful and inclusive trips in wild places that offer meaningful experiences for all participants. We consider each trip to be a "microsociety," and give our participants the chance to weigh in and decide how they want that "microsociety" to function, how they want people to be treated, and how they want group decisions to be made.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: 16 and 17 year old campers are welcome to join us on our Cojourn, a 3-week outdoor leadership intensive that focuses on our group management and social dynamics curriculum. More information can be found online.

18 - 21 year old applicants can join our Apprenticeship program for a 4-6 week intensive training in outdoor leadership. This is a paid internship.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our facilities are always first class. Most of the No.1 Soccer Camps are held on renown college campuses or private schools throughout the United States.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: No. 1 Soccer Camps offers a camp for all levels of players.

1) Youth Academy - Designed for boys and girls ages 6-10. Fun, exciting and engaging activities are all part of the week. We do this with individual and small group activities with the introduction of fun technical exercises and games that are engaging and pertinent for the age group and ability level. With our unique curriculum youth players will be exposed to the proper technique such as shooting, dribbling, 1v1, crossing and much more.

2) Junior Academy - Designed for boys & girls, goalkeepers and field players ages 10-13. The program has been designed to build a foundation that will help the participant’s progress to the next level. This will be accomplished in a fun, entertaining and positive environment. Each session will be progressive in nature and will conclude with a relative small-sided game that will highlight the topic of the session. Competitive tournaments will be played throughout the week, and be the highlight of our evening sessions.

3) Senior Academy - Designed for High School players, including incoming freshmen, who are ready to play and be trained at the next level. . Throughout the week, players will be put in a competitive environment that will bring out their very best. Players will be exposed to the four dimensions of training, Physical, Technical, Tactical and Psychological. In our unique evening competitions, players will have the opportunity to compete against other teams, other players and themselves.

4) College Prep Academy - Our goal is to provide an incredible environment where serious soccer players will be exposed to the highest level of instruction in anticipation of playing at the highest level possible. High Performance Seminars will be led by trusted experts in their field and will include: Sports Nutrition, Soccer Specific Conditioning, ACT/SAT Preparation and Sport Psychology. Goalkeepers and field players will be exposed to an intensive training environment for those who are serious about fulfilling their potential.

5) College Showcase Camps - Now available for the serious soccer player at select No.1 Soccer Camp sites throughout the country. The directors of our College ID Showcase Camps are all currently active college coaches. In addition, the College Showcase ID Camps allow you to be seen by, and to work directly with college coaches and their assistants from programs all over the US. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: A Wisconsin Summer Camp for Youth with Learning Disabilities / Differences. Timbertop is an overnight camp designed for boys and girls that have been identified by their School District as needing extra help for a special learning need. Specific learning disabilities may include: OHI, ADHD, ADD, LD and SLD. Youth receiving support services such as Leveled Learning Intervention (LLI), Reading Support and Title 1, are also eligible.

Timbertop combines traditional camp activities with extra reading practice and special group activities that focus on dealing with learning differences in a structured daily setting. We are dedicated to providing a safe, fun and small group environment, which develops the spirit, mind and body of each individual. Camp is a special place where youth and teens learn about the environment, develop positive values, make meaningful friendships, build positive peer relationships, learn new skills and increase self-confidence. In our community of caring adults Timbertop summer camp helps kids grow and find themselves.

Our History:
This year we will be celebrating the 54th anniversary of Timbertop! Timbertop was founded in 1967 and operated by the Association for Services for Learning Disabilities, a non-profit organization that sponsors camping for children with learning disabilities. Timbertop Camp Inc. is now operated by a Volunteer Board of Directors.

Camp Details:
Timbertop is a 7 day outdoor adventure where campers will learn outdoor skills and participate in activities designed to enhance their cooperative abilities and interpersonal relationships. An emphasis is placed on building self-esteem and how to make and keep friends. Whether building a campfire, cleaning the cabin or learning how to handle a canoe, each camper learns to share the responsibility of camp life. The daily schedule includes: reading instruction, swim lessons, cabin activities, camp classes (such as nature exploration, canoeing, arts & crafts, archery, fishing, games and more), evening campfires, stargazing and all-camp programs.

Camp Leadership/Directors:
Timbertop Camp is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors. Our volunteers/staff are selected for their leadership skills and their ability to provide a meaningful and safe camp experience for youth with Learning Disabilities. Volunteers/Staff have an understanding of youth with special needs and the unique potential of each child. There is a ratio of one adult to every six campers.

Nancy Reuter “Spirit” has worked with Timbertop since 1992 and is a Special Education teacher in Mosinee, WI.

Pete Matthai “Timber” has been with Timbertop since 1991. He has been the Camp Director Since 1994. He has a BS degree from UWSP in Natural Resources – Youth Programming & Camp Management.

We understand that different families have differing abilities to pay, so we have implemented three pricing levels to better accommodate all financial needs. CAMP FACILITIES: We are on a beautiful lake and have fifteen camper cabins (with bathrooms attached). Our facilities are all newly renovated and well maintained.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Swift Nature Camp is an overnight nature camp for boys and girls ages 6-15. Our focus is to blend traditional summer camp activities while increasing a child's appreciation for nature, science and the environment.

Our special Discovery Camp is a nurturing program for first-time overnight campers, offering additional staff to provide support and encouragement to overcome homesickness and build confidence. The program welcomes no more than 50 first-time campers, and the special attention that this intimate group receives is the reason that more than 92% of them wish to return.

Swift Nature Camp offers traditional summer camp activities along with an environmental focus. Campers enjoy an active Nature Center, Pet Zoo, and Department of Natural Resources sponsored programs, plus recreational activities that include canoe and backpack trips, horseback riding, swimming, arts & crafts, team courses, archery, sailing, water skiing, tubing and sports.

The mission of the Shell Lake Arts Center is to provide creative arts education and enrichment experiences for diverse populations of youth and adult learners. CAMP FACILITIES: We have 24 cabins, a multi purpose Chadar, indoor/outdoor basketball courts, Ulam (theater), and magnificent beach. In 2013, we completed our Beit Ruach, a brand-new 12,000 sq. ft. gym with amazing spaces for dance and yoga besides 2 basketball courts, another new Haks (showerhouse), a new building to added to Amanut (arts and crafts), a bigger and better Marpeah (infirmary), and some new staff housing for professional staff like our new Rabbi.

Health & Safety
Herzl Camp provides medical coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at camp with full-time nurses and doctors. Our Marpeah (Health Center) staff care for all routine health issues at camp without charge. Emergency services are provided at nearby Burnett County Medical Center, a fully-equipped trauma center. Campers who take medications regularly must receive their prescriptions through our specialty prescription service.

Food
We serve three healthy, nutritious kosher meals and a Nosh (snack) each day. Whole grains, fresh veggies and ripe fruit are on the menu for every meal. Meals are served family-style with vegetarian options for all meals.

Judaics at Camp
As an independent, pluralistic camp, we’ve created uniquely "Herzl" Jewish programming and education, including daily Limmudim or T'fillot. Shabbat services are led by a different camper program each week with guidance from our Chinuch staff. At Herzl Camp, Conservative, Reconstructionist, Reform, and Modern Orthodox children pray and learn together daily.

Shabbat is a restful time at Herzl and rich with tradition. We dress in white and welcome Shabbat with song and a caravan to services. Candles are lit. Hands are washed. Kiddush. Motzi. A delicious meal followed by Birkat and singing. The Torah is read every week. Throughout Shabbat, we alter our activities to make the day more restful, more reverent, and different from the rest of the week. Shabbat ends with the entire camp participating in Havdala together.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Herzl Camp Financial Aid - Through generous donations from our friends and alumni, Herzl Camp offers need-based financial aid. If your child wants to be at camp, we’ll work with you to make it happen. Fill out our short application and return it to us with the supporting documentation by February 15. CAMP FACILITIES: The Central Wisconsin Environmental Station (CWES) offers premier summer camp options. The Station is located 19 miles east of Stevens Point amid rolling hills and on Sunset Lake, with 200 acres of towering red and white pines, hardwoods, wetlands and lakes. Campers stay in Scandinavian-style log cabins and enjoy meals featuring local and organic food. Cabins sleep eight runners in each, with one cabin sleeping 12. Teams can be housed in the same cabin, single gender. The modern bathhouse and shower facility is located within the cabin loop.

Wireless access is available in the Sunset and Walker lodges.

CWES also provides plenty of opportunity for recreation with swimming and boating on Sunset Lake, fire pit for evening gathering, hiking trails, and team building activities.CWES is a 200-acre teaching and learning center located 17 miles east of Stevens Point, WI.

This camp is centered around a strength-oriented approach to running, while consistently touching on speed or speed drills to improve or maintain running efficiency. Chris Solinsky has a belief that a successful distance athlete is one that finds a volume that not only challenges them, but also one that they can do consistently. If there is one secret in distance running it is that there are no secrets, but the key to success is safely pushing the limit consistently over time - this is what allows athletes to become so aerobically strong and to compete with the best!

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 18 modern cabins with heating, hot and cold running water, sinks and toilets. All campers have their own bed space, we do not use bunk beds! We have a huge messhall, a great rec hall and several other buildings we do things in. It is a modern facility, with constant improvements throughout.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Established in 1955, Harand Camp was one of the nation's first co-ed, residential camps to combine SINGING, DANCING, and ACTING with the FUN of traditional camp activities. OTHER CAMP INFO: Schedule: Campers spend half the day in theater classes and the other half in activity classes of their own choosing. Evenings and Sundays include a rotating schedule of rehearsals, cabin nights, and all-camp events and games. Living: Upon arrival, our campers (ages 7 - 18) are divided into "cabins" by age and reside together in the dorms (2-3 per room).

Food: Meals are served three times a day in the dining hall which features many options, including a salad bar, and frozen yogurt.

Performing Arts Program: Harand Camp adheres to a non-competitive philosophy where everyone is a star (the primary goal is for all campers to build self-confidence & self-esteem). In preparation for final performances, campers take daily classes in singing, dancing, and dramatics in the morning or afternoon. Occasional rehearsals are held in the evening (alternating with activities & events). Each session then culminates with a large-scale performance for friends, family, and alumni in a state-of-the-art theatre.

First 3-Week Session (Pageant) - Campers participate in a full-length musical revue involving the entire camp. Each age group prepares two sections of non-stop singing and dancing and appear on stage no less than three times.

Past Harand Camp pageants include: Tributes to Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Movie Musicals, Women of Broadway, the Tony Awards, Broadway Rock Musicals, etc.

Second 3-Week Session (Shows) - During the second three weeks, each age group prepares a full-length show. Unlike at other camps, Haranders have the chance to take on leading roles, as well as learn how to be a part of the ensemble � ensuring that every camper receives the full musical theatre experience.

Electives and Activities: In addition to the theatre program, campers also register for three periods of elective activities per day. The camp operates on an alternating schedule of A-Days (M, W, F) and B-Days (Tu, Th, Sa), so campers actually have six classes of their own choosing. Examples may include Soccer, Basketball, Swimming, Volleyball, Badminton, Cheerleading, Tennis, Fitness, Zumba, Technical Theatre, Costuming, Improv, Audition Coaching, Story Theatre, Hip Hop, Tap, Photography, Film & Video, Arts & Crafts, Creative Writing, Board Games, etc. When not rehearsing in the evening, campers enjoy cabin nights and events, as well as all-camp competitions, concerts and excursions.

CAMP FACILITIES: Since 1933, Clearwater Camp has been providing a traditional, sleepaway adventure camp for girls and young women. Many of our green-and-white painted mainland buildings or outlying brown camper cabins have stood the test of time. Clearwater's features include 20 camper cabins, a hilltop dining room, a lakeside gathering hall, an overwater boathouse with upstairs arts and craft shop, two tennis courts, a riding stable and riding ring, a campfire amphitheater, an archery ring, a tripping shed, a swimming area and separate waterski and sailing bays.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Clearwater Camp for Girls is a traditional, sleepaway adventure camp featuring dozens of activities every day. Activities include: Sailing, waterskiing, riding, tennis, arts and crafts, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, archery, campcraft and outdoor cooking, mountain biking, nature exploration, land sports, creative writing, drama, music, photography and ceramics.

In addition to our main activities, each camper has the opportunity to take a camping trip during her time at Clearwater, an important and valued aspect of the Clearwater experience. Trips range from canoeing down local rivers to hiking trips around the Porcupine Mountains and Isle Royale to kayaking trips and sailing trips in Lake Superior to even longer canoeing trips in the Boundary Waters.

Clearwater Camp customizes activity and trip schedules for each camper. Before camp begins, each camper fills out a preference sheet indicating what activities most interest them. Clearwater then bases the camper's schedule on the preferences of the camper and her parents, with the opportunity to try new activities along the way. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Leadership girls discover what it means to be a camp counselor, learn specific leadership techniques, and make the transition from being served by others to being in the service of others. SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
WATERFRONT DIRECTOR
Responsibilities: Plan and implement a vibrant waterfront program that is fun, engaging, and appropriate for the age and ability of campers; oversee the development and implementation of creative, progressive lesson plans in all aquatic areas; conduct ongoing evaluations of waterfront programs and implement improvements where necessary; collect and evaluate records; report and evaluate camp program and activity areas; continuously monitor and evaluate the success of the program and adjust activities accordingly; ensure that safety practices established by WI State Department of Health and the American Camp Association are in effect at all times.

Qualifications: Must be at least 25 years of age; Current Waterfront Lifeguard certification; current certification in CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid or Responding to Emergencies, prior experience helpful in the development and delivery of recreational programs; experience in supervising others.

HEAD OF TRIPPING
Responsibilities: planning logistics, ensuring safety standards are met, ensuring camper readiness, driving camp vans, and coordinating equipment and food.

Qualifications: at least 21 years of age; experience working with children in the outdoors; experience planning and leading backpacking, canoeing, and kayaking trips; current certification from NOLS, Outward Bound, or similar program, or documented experience leading a variety of progressive outdoor experiences; current certification in CPR for the Professional Rescuer and Wilderness First Aid is required; Wilderness First Responder is preferred. Current American Red Cross Waterfront Lifeguard certification is required; this course is offered pre-season. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

HEAD OF RIDING
Responsibilities: Implement program goals of helping campers progress in their riding ability, organize the overall riding program (maintain equipment and tack, clean barn, pasture, and trails) supervise the other riding staff (delegate responsibilities, assign classes to teach or assist, etc), and care for the horse herd on a daily basis (feeding, grooming, watering, administer 1st aid as needed, etc). Other duties include riding instruction with campers ages 8 to 16.

Qualifications: at least 21 years of age. Possess skills and confidence in leading and organizing English horsemanship with children. Must be confident in teaching riders to ride at walk, trot, canter, post trot, jumping position, and jumping using the correct position with appropriate aids and cues. Supervisory experience. Current certification as a horseback riding instructor or have documented training and experience.

ACTIVITY/CABIN COUNSELOR
Responsibilities: The Activity/Cabin Counselor is responsible for guiding, supervising, and organizing campers in the cabin, in activities, on trips, and throughout camp so as to meet the goals of Clearwater Camp. Cabin and activity counselors assist in the direction, supervision, and organization of campers in the cabin; maintain high standards of health and safety throughout camp for campers and staff; develop and deliver program that is fun, engaging, and appropriate for the age and ability of campers; manage and care for the physical facilities and equipment in cabin and activity area.

Qualifications: Must be at least 19 years of age or have completed one year of college; current certification in the program area or documented training and experience; current certification in CPR and First Aid, Wilderness First Aid, or Wilderness First Responder where required; current Waterfront Lifeguard certification where required. Of note, we prefer most of our staff to be lifeguard certified, training is available.

CAMP FACILITIES: Campers are housed in dorm style rooms in our state of the art Lodge which overlooks our 1920's Pioneer Airport. This active airport supports aircraft from the 1920's and 30's.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Each session includes a flight with a CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) in a real airplane where campers, after take-off, take control of the aircraft and learn the various attitudes and wonders of the aircraft and where their flight time can be log in their own personal logbook. The camps provide a wonderful introduction to aviation and an experience that will last a lifetime. All fees include room and board, programs and flight. EAA AIR ACADEMY: For young people ages 12-18, the EAA Air Academy is an experience of a lifetime that takes their interest in aviation to the next level. Basic Air Academy (For ages 14 and 15)

The EAA Basic Air Academy is the next exciting step through the world of aviation. Each “hands-on” activity is designed to interest and challenge the intermediate 14- and 15-year-olds during a classroom and media presentation, specialized laboratory activities, and aviation-related demonstrations. Intermediate ground instruction and recreation flight experiences highlight this meaningful, action-packed camp.

Advanced Air Academy (For ages 16, 17 and 18)

The EAA Advanced Air Academy provides an atmosphere for mature students to become totally immersed in the world of aviation, including full participation in EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. Advanced classroom, ground instruction and recreation flight experiences highlight this meaningful, action-packed camp.

All fees include: Expert instruction, materials, and meals, lodging in the EAA Air Academy Lodge, introductory flights in an aircraft and helicopter, and AirVenture admission (for Advanced Air Academy participants). Transportation to and from Oshkosh is the responsibility of the participants.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Onaway is a 6.5 acre island located on the Chain O' Lakes near Waupaca, Wisconsin. Since 1908, the Brigade has offered camps at Onaway Island as an extension of the Building Leaders program at our building in Neenah. Our professional, passionate, and positive coaches will help your child become a better player and a more inspired athlete. Camp provides the perfect opportunity to improve skills, make new friends, laugh hard, and smile a lot. Our Mission is to shape a lifelong enjoyment of athletics through high quality sports education and skill enhancement while consistently exceeding the expectations of our customers!

During the summer of 2014 more than 70,000 US and international campers attended a US Sports Camps program. US Sports Camps currently offers 24 programs in 15 different sports.

Our summer sports camps include: Baseball, Basketball, Crew, Field Hockey, Football, Golf, Gymnastics, Lacrosse, Multi-Sport, Rugby, Running, Soccer, Softball, Swim, Tennis, Ultimate, Volleyball, Waterpolo, and Yoga. We also offer several International sports camps around the world. Our sports camps continue to grow thanks to an outstanding community of Camp Directors and the dedication of the entire USSC staff. SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Each camp director is responsible for hiring their own staff and typically hire in late winter and early spring. CAMP FACILITIES: water skiing/tubing, horses in the national forest, rafting/tubing down the Wolf River, outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, pristine lake for swimming, dining hall that feeds 400.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Silver Birch Ranch has been serving our nation through Christian Camping since 1968. Our full time (We are a year 'round facility) staff has averages 20 years experience.

Our location at the edge of Sawyer Lake and the Nicolet National Forest gives us an ideal location for water sports and places to travel on horses, cross country skiing in the winter, etc.

There are no extra fees for the activities unless it involves consumable materials. (crafts, paintball, etc.)

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: While we only ask parents for 10% of the cost, for a camper to attend a program, we offer partial or full camperships for families who may not be able to afford the tuition for a program.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): We have a Brain Tumor Family Camp that is specifically designed for families with a child with a Brain Tumor diagnosis, and/or a Brain Tumor Survivor.

In addition, we have out "general" Family Camp for families with a child that has a cancer diagnosis, and/or are a survivor.

Pennsylvania: We train, eat, and sleep all at the Ramada Inn Convention Center Hotel. It provides an ideal learning experience and air conditioned wrestling area.

Parents, you are welcome to attend either the Kids Training Camp or the Future Champions Camp with your son. This is a unique opportunity to learn and bond together in a world class wrestling environment that also stresses fun, fitness, and fundamentals. CAMP FACILITIES: WeHaKee offers 14 newly renovated, spacious cabins, heated swimming pool, professional tennis courts, horseback riding ring & private bridal trails, a beautiful log-hewn dining hall, ultra-modern restroom & individual shower facilities, beautiful waterfront ideal for swimming, boating and skiing.

For over 95 years, we have been very intentional in providing each girl with an immediate sense of belonging so that she feels comfortable making new friends from around the world, trying new & exciting activities, and growing in ways she never imagined. WeHaKee parents report that their daughters return home with increased independence and confidence.

Girls design their own program by selecting from nearly 40 activity choices to create a program of new activities along with old favorites.
